John Kempf grew up helping his Dad do handy work around the house including a complete gutting and refinishing of an entire house. This “Hands On” experience gave John the common sense understanding
that sets a Great handyman apart from the not so great… John continued on to Central Michigan
University where he earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration. Staying on his career path, John worked for a construction company to put himself through college.

Upon Graduation, John began working for the Nation’s Largest Residential Builder, Pulte Homes. After
more than five years with Pulte, John moved to Florida securing a position with National Builder,
KB Homes. Two years passed when John decided to embark on self employment with the creation of
his own Company, JK Handyman Service in 2008.

“There is great satisfaction in knowing that everything that JK does is done right. Being a smaller
company allows us to keep Quality High while keeping cost low”. The JK Handyman Mission is clear, to maintain a successful customer oriented business that prides itself in focusing on the details of every job, assuring quality and customer satisfaction always.
